Job Description

My client is a retail and investment banking group; we are currently recruiting for an experienced Technical Compliance Analyst to start ASAP on a 12 month contract, to be based from HQ in Amsterdam.

You will be reporting directly to an Audit Director in The Hague. You will mainly be dealing with IT SOX review and reporting, core banking control coordination, and compliance projects support with limited supervision.

Your tasks will include:

• Monitor IT compliance in line with regional regulations
• Test and review internal control of operations and ensure compliance with the group IT policies and requirements
• Conduct annual SOX compliance reviews
• Communicate IT audit plans with brand management as well as provide suggestions based on the results

The successful applicant will have at least 3 years relevant experience in professional accounting firms or direct from an internal IT audit, risk, compliance and controlling role within a corporate environment. Applicants should have substantial SOX exposure, and a good understanding of both International and local accounting standards. It is imperative that incoming team members are fully operational in business English.

On offer is a generous day rate (up to €850 a day) for the right candidate, including expenses for those outside the Amsterdam area.
