Main responsibilities:

• You will request offers from suppliers and subcontractors and verify their compliance with the technical specifications and requirements of our clients.
• You will negotiate adjustments to offers and terms to ensure that both technical and economic requirements are met.
• You will identify potential new subcontractors, establish relationships, and maintain long-term partnerships.
• You will conduct price negotiations and negotiate framework agreements with suppliers and subcontractors.
• You will create purchase orders in close collaboration with the project managers and ensure that the procurements align with the project requirements and timelines.
• When needed, you will support the sales team through technical and commercial advice and contribute to the preparation of offers.
• Coordinating individual payment terms and determining in which cases bank guarantees are to be provided by our subcontractors. This must be coordinated with our suppliers and the responsible project manager.

Requirements:
• Classic education as an industrial business management assistant (Industriekaufmann) in Germany, with experience in purchasing.
• 5 years in technical purchasing in the field of electrical engineering/construction.
• Very good knowledge of German
• Excellent English skills.
• Technical understanding, as well as economical, commercial, industrial, market, material and product.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
