Role Overview
The Technical Business Analyst at BlueRock TMS plays a pivotal role in driving the company's transition to a more product-driven approach. In this role, you are the link between product and implementation. We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of technical concepts and systems and has a pro-active problem solving mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Core Technical Activities

• Support and test new product developments and implementation related activities

• Translate complex business requirements in our architecture

• Ability to diagnose and resolve system issues and who is skilled in the analysis of error logs

• Development of different types of interfaces (API, EDI, FTP)

• Contributing to the design of technical solutions.

• Supporting the implementation of solutions by providing technical guidance and expertise

Product Collaboration & Product Driven Strategy

• Collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams to develop, refine and test existing and new product development.

• Gather feedback from internal stakeholders to continuously improve.

• Act as a bridge between the Professional Services and Product teams to ensure that customer insights are integrated into product development.

• Contribute to the creation of a knowledge base of use cases and templates to support the scalability of the product.

Technical Support

• Contribute to the handling of support tickets that come in.

• Triage 2nd line support requests

Project Collaboration

• Serve as the secondary consultant for customers, guiding them on how to best utilize the TMS platform's built-in modules

• Work closely with the project team to understand the business processes and recommend the best practice.

• Support the Middleware team to onboard Logistics Service Providers, ensuring seamless integration with BlueRock TMS.

• Drive the utilization and standardization of APIs to connect BlueRock TMS with third-party systems such as WMS, ERP, Visibility Providers, Customs Solutions, and others.

Qualifications

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Professional Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Technical Business Analyst or similar role, preferably within the SaaS or TMS industries.

• Proven experience in product-driven environments, with a strong understanding of software implementation and best practices.

• Experience in API integration and standardization, particularly with systems such as WMS, ERP, Visibility Providers, and Customs Solutions.

• Experience in business rules engines is a pro.

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of TMS platforms and their applications in various industries. Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.

• Experience with API utilization and standardization for third-party system integration.

• Familiarity with SQL, postman and Grafana

Soft Skills:

• Ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
