About You

You are a technical, AI-enabled Business Analyst who thrives in complex, integration-driven environments. You feel comfortable operating within mature platforms that support a growing ecosystem of external technology partners.

You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in communication. You are curious about AI capabilities and comfortable experimenting with prompt-driven solutions to improve documentation, workflows, and integrations. You prioritize progress over perfection and are able to move initiatives forward even when not all variables are fully defined.

You work autonomously, take ownership of outcomes, and stay highly engaged in delivery and execution.

You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst supporting integration-heavy platforms.
• Strong experience collaborating closely with Engineering teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Hands-on experience managing backlogs using Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools.
• Advanced understanding of APIs and web technologies, including REST, JSON, authentication, error handling, and request/response flows.
• Experience reviewing logs, analyzing defects, and supporting production issue triage.
• Experience onboarding and supporting external API or integration partners.
• Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously within self-managed Agile teams.
• Proven experience leveraging AI tools to enhance documentation, analysis, or workflow efficiency.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud environments.
• Exposure to middleware, API platforms, or integration layers.
• Experience improving onboarding or operational workflows through automation (nice to have, embedded as we usually do).

You Will Be Accountable for the Following Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary coordination point between Engineering teams and external API/integration partners.
• Own the intake, triage, prioritization, and assignment of technical defects and enhancement requests.
• Translate business and partner needs into detailed technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Support the onboarding of new integration partners, including requirement validation, credential setup, testing coordination, certification, and go-live support.
• Collaborate with Engineering to analyze API logs, error patterns, and production issues to determine root causes and define next steps.
• Maintain and groom integration-related backlogs, ensuring clarity, prioritization, and delivery alignment.
• Coordinate UAT and partner validation activities.
• Track dependencies, risks, and delivery progress across concurrent initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve onboarding, issue triage, and integration processes through standardization and AI-driven efficiencies.
• Ensure delivered solutions meet technical constraints, business objectives, and partner expectations.

• Technical Business Analyst in Agile environments, supporting API integrations (REST, JSON, Authentication, Error Handling), backlog management (Azure DevOps / Jira), defect triage, and production support.
• Experience supporting external API partners, collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering teams, and leveraging AI tools to enhance documentation, analysis, and workflow efficiency.
