Job Description

At Aperia, we rely on a dynamic team of analysts. We’re seeking a Business Analyst who is ready to work with new technologies and architecture in a forward-thinking organization that’s always pushing boundaries.

Objectives of this role

• Drive cross-functional awareness of requirements and identify inefficiencies in systems processes using data and trend analysis.

• Lead strategic thinking on technical business processes, developing systems prototypes to enhance efficiency and productivity across multiple levels.

• Ensure thorough quality assurance throughout systems development lifecycle.

• Define and refine user requirements for complex software development processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders across various business units to conduct analyses and produce documentation, fostering effective communication.

• Continuously evaluate, analyze, and communicate systems requirements, maintaining systems processes and providing status reports to relevant parties.

• Monitor and research postproduction deployments, prove to stakeholders that the implemented solution works.

• Author and maintain internal and external documentation, including formal delivery of requirements.

• Perform systems analytics to optimize performance and troubleshoot issues.

• Cultivate strong relationships with partners for seamless systems integration, addressing inquiries and issues from managers, business users and SMEs with well-researched recommendations.

Required skills and qualifications

• 4 or more years of experience in analytics and systems development.

• Payments experience is a must.

• Proficiency in SQL.

• Extensive experience with Atlassian tools – JIRA and Confluence.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Visio.

• Strong analytical skills with a proven track record.

• Experience in creating process documentation and reports.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of translating data into actionable insights.

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in information technology or computer science.

• Demonstrated project management and user testing abilities.

• Experience in data visualization tools like Power BI.

• Working knowledge of GitLab.

Eligibility Requirements

• Must be willing to submit to a background investigation and drug test as part of the selection process.
