The Technical Artist bridges the gap between art and technology in the development of slot games, ensuring the seamless integration of visual assets while maintaining high performance and visual quality. The role focuses on optimizing assets, shaders, animations, and VFX, supporting efficient art pipelines, and enabling creative excellence through robust technical solutions.
Working closely with artists, developers, and game designers, the Technical Artist helps translate creative vision into technically sound, scalable, and performant game content. The role also contributes to improving tools, workflows, and processes, proactively solving visual and performance challenges, and driving visual innovation throughout the production lifecycle of slot games.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure visual assets meet technical performance requirements without compromising quality.
Support the art team by providing technical solutions and troubleshooting software or pipeline issues.
Collaborate with the development team to assist in optimizing assets for smooth performance on various platforms and devices.
Help translate artistic concepts into digital assets and ensure their proper integration into the game engine.
Responsibility for reviewing all game graphics and producing the final game package to assemble a complete game.
Identify and assist in resolving technical issues related to graphics and art during game development.
Understand games engines, workflows and graphics rendering and develop them so they work more effectively.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation to facilitate understanding and collaboration within the team.
WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Digital Arts, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Previous experience or internship in a Technical Artist role in the gaming industry. (Nive to have)
Basic skills in shader development and visual effects.
Skills in different software such a Photoshop, After Effects, or equivalent tools.
Passion for games and a portfolio showcasing artistic and technical skills. (Nice to have)
Expertise in creating and optimizing shaders, materials, and visual effects.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Salary 100% on payroll. Competitive salary range and according to seniority.
