Lead the development of regulator‑ready remediation, reclamation, and closure submissions.
Interface directly with regulators to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and support approvals.
Identify technical and regulatory risks early and implement practical mitigation strategies.
Client & Business Support
Act as a technical point of contact for key clients, supporting long‑term relationships.
Provide technical input into scopes, proposals, and work capture activities.
Support delivery teams with strategic guidance on complex or sensitive sites.
Mentorship & Quality Assurance
Mentor and support junior and intermediate staff in technical methods and regulatory interpretation.
Review technical work to ensure defensibility and consistency with best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Agrology, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in environmental consulting or industry, preferably within the upstream, midstream and/or downstream oil and gas, municipal, or industrial sectors.
Eligible for or currently holding a professional designation with a recognized regulatory body (e.g., P.Ag., P.Geo., P.Eng.).
