Delivery leadership. Run project planning, staffing, budgets, risk, and quality across multi-disciplinary teams (engineering, QA, product, design).
Requirements and process. Lead requirements gathering by translating client business needs into clear, actionable specifications for the delivery team.
Technical judgment. Make and defend technical trade-offs at a level sufficient to collaborate with architects and senior engineers.
Stakeholder communication. Maintain alignment across both client and internal leadership.
Requirements
Track record of delivering enterprise-level e-commerce projects as the lead PM or technical account lead.
Working proficiency in Japanese and English — including technical and commercial conversations.
Demonstrated systems literacy: comfortable reasoning about APIs, integrations, data flows, and release processes.
Strong consultative and stakeholder management skills in environments with multiple vendors and senior client counterparts.
Preferred

Prior experience in digital transformation engagements or product-adjacent roles.
Hands-on EC product experience across conversion optimization and experimentation (CRO, A/B testing, funnel analytics).

Working knowledge of the Japan EC payment and CRM landscape — konbini, PayPay,Rakuten Pay, LINE as a marketing channel, Rakuten/Amazon JP marketplace dynamics.
Comfort with web analytics and measurement — GA4, event taxonomy, attribution model trade-offs.
Experience with using AI to improve daily workflows, prototyping and/or coding.
