Tech Team Lead – ERP Admin & Finance (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Tech Team Lead to lead our ERP Admin & Finance engineering team, responsible for building and operating the financial backbone of our company.
In this role, you will lead a team that designs, builds, and maintains mission-critical financial systems used across multiple countries, sales channels, and legal frameworks.
You will combine technical leadership with people management, working closely with Product, Finance (FiCO), and other engineering teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and highly reliable solutions.
You will play a key role in shaping the future of our ERP platform and driving automation, accuracy, and transparency across our financial operations.

About the ERP Admin & Finance Team

The ERP Admin & Finance team develops and maintains critical financial systems that support our business at scale. The team is responsible for:

Processing vendor invoices from multiple sources (EDI, OCR, e-invoicing, and manual inputs)
Preparing payout documents for bank payments
Generating fiscal and accounting documents for various sales channels
Integration with external partners for e-invoicing and regulatory e-reporting
Providing finance and tax reports to support FiCO during monthly and yearly closing
Developing and maintaining Invoicing as a Service solutions
Supporting compliance with local tax and fiscal regulations across different markets
This team plays a key role in enabling seamless financial operations, ensuring data correctness, and driving automation in one of the most sensitive domains of the business.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead, mentor, and support a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
Provide technical leadership and guidance on architecture, design, and engineering best practices
Drive the development and delivery of projects, ensuring high quality, scalability, and timely execution
Partner closely with Product Managers, Finance (FiCO), and business stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
Continuously improve service design, engineering methods, and team ways of working
Proactively identify technical challenges and risks, proposing effective solutions and process improvements
You've got
Strong software engineering background with experience building and maintaining complex backend systems
Proven experience leading or mentoring engineering teams
Solid understanding of ERP, finance, accounting, or tax-related domains (strong advantage)
Experience working with integrations, external partners, and compliance-driven systems
Ability to balance technical excellence with business and operational needs
Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a collaborative approach
EU Work permit.
