What you’ll bring to the table:

Delivery of outcomes

• Own and drive end-to-end delivery of complex initiatives from selecting the right delivery approach and project management method (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, Lean, SAFe, Nexus, Value Stream Management) to planning, executing and optimising throughout engagements to ensure predictable, timely, and high-quality delivery of outcomes aligned with business priorities.
• Shape, set up, onboard and manage delivery teams made up of a diverse mix of onshore, nearshore and client team members
• Manage dependencies, risks, and constraints across squads, platforms, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
• Own delivery planning, sequencing, milestones, and execution tracking across teams.
• Ensure a clear path to production, including operational readiness and post-release follow-up.
• Collaborate across disciplines to ensure delivery plans are realistic, prioritised, and executable.
• Own the commercial health of the engagement, ensuring milestones are reached while identifying opportunities to scale our services
• Improve delivery processes and tooling to reduce execution friction through the application of GenAI strategy and AI tooling
• Contribute to the commercial shaping of engagements and growth of accounts, including the design of outcome-based pricing models and the negotiation of high-value statements of work that balance risk with client value.

Assurance

• Provide high-level delivery assurance and independent health checks across complex portfolios, identifying 'weak signals' of failure before they impact the critical path.
• Proactively identify delivery risks and issues that may impact timelines, scope, quality or cost.
• Drive mitigation plans and escalate when necessary to ensure delivery and outcome commitments are met.
• Resolve execution blockers by coordinating across teams and leadership.
• Metrics and reporting:
• Track and report delivery metrics such as progress against outcomes, milestones, dependencies, predictability, lead time, and throughput.
• Use data-driven insights to identify delivery bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
• Design and lead the governance cadence, ensuring steering committees have a sharp, data-backed view of delivery health and trajectory.

Stakeholder management

• Partner with cross-discipline stakeholders to align delivery / product outcomes with business objectives.
• Manage stakeholder expectations through clear communication, transparency, and realistic planning.
• Foster collaboration across squads while maintaining delivery accountability.
• Navigate friction points, from internal client politics to team misalignment, adeptly, comfortably pushing back and having the difficult conversations required to keep things on track.
• Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite and Director-level stakeholders, influencing their digital strategy, organizational design, change or transformation plans to improve delivery and strategic execution.

Continuous improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve delivery effectiveness, execution models, and ways of working.
• Drive profitability by stripping out delivery friction. We need someone who understands that better execution directly translates to a healthier P&L for every engagement they lead.
• Support teams in refining processes to improve efficiency, quality, and predictability.
• Give and encourage regular feedback to drive the professional development of ANDis within your Club.
• Apply lessons learned from delivery outcomes to improve future execution.

Practice development

• Remain hands on by championing and influencing the delivery direction of engagements being led by yourself or the Club (your business unit).
• Provide delivery guidance and advice to clients; being able to observe the problems closely and propose applicable solutions.
• Coach, mentor and develop high-performing individuals and teams through implementing best practice delivery skills & methods, and adopting the behaviours associated with high performance.
• Lead, develop and support the Delivery community in your Club and within AND through our Technology Strategy and Organisation Practice Area (community for our practitioners to come together and collaborate).
• Contribute to the evolution of delivery at AND Digital, codifying best practices and developing new frameworks for the Technology Strategy and Organisation Practice Area.

ANDi Leadership & Squad Development

• Lead and develop a squad of ANDis, including performance management, engagement, and day-to-day people support (with People Partner guidance where needed)
• Act as the key point of contact for Performance & Progression, providing regular feedback, mentoring, and career development support
• Drive high engagement across the squad, ensuring wellbeing, effective use of time (holiday, upskilling, innovation), and strong communication
• Contribute to Club Wangari’s vision and objectives, aligning your squad to key initiatives and creating clear purpose and direction
• Collaborate with People Partner, Squad Leads, and Service Delivery to raise issues, support planning, and ensure successful delivery of engagements
