Tech Lead (Web3)

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Tech Lead to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead the technical vision, design, and development of innovative web3 projects, guiding a team of engineers to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance decentralized solutions that shape the future of the digital economy.

In this role, you will:

• Lead Technical Strategy and Architecture: Define and drive the technical roadmap for web3 projects, designing scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures for both frontend and backend systems. Oversee the integration of blockchain technologies, ensuring alignment with project goals and the company’s vision.

• Guide Development of Web Applications: Oversee the design and development of responsive, mobile-friendly, and pixel-perfect user interfaces using modern frameworks like React and TypeScript, as well as robust server-side logic, APIs, and database integrations using Node.js and related technologies.

• Mentor and Lead Engineering Teams: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of full stack and blockchain engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. Conduct code reviews to enforce coding standards, best practices, and style guidelines.

• Drive Blockchain Integration: Lead the implementation of blockchain-based functionalities, including wallet connectivity, smart contract interactions, and transaction processing, using tools like Ethers.js, Hardhat, or similar. Collaborate with blockchain engineers to ensure secure, efficient, and seamless integrations.

• Optimize Performance and Scalability: Champion best practices for optimizing application performance, including code bundling, caching, lazy loading, and database query optimization, to deliver fast, reliable, and scalable user experiences.

• Ensure Quality and Reliability: Develop and oversee comprehensive testing strategies, including unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests, to ensure the reliability and quality of both frontend and backend systems.

• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical team members and align development efforts with project timelines and goals.

• Stay Ahead of Industry Trends: Keep abreast of emerging technologies, frameworks, and trends in web3, blockchain, and software development to ensure the team adopts cutting-edge tools and practices.

You might thrive in this role if you have:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven Technical Leadership: 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership or lead developer role, overseeing full stack or web3 projects. Expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks; Node.js, Express, or similar frameworks; and RESTful API development with database management (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL).

• Deep Blockchain Expertise: Strong understanding of blockchain concepts and hands-on experience leading the integration of smart contracts and decentralized applications (dApps). Familiarity with tools like Ethers.js, Hardhat, or similar.

• Experience with Scalable Architectures: Proven ability to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures for web applications, with a focus on optimizing both frontend and backend systems.

• Leadership and Mentorship Skills: Demonstrated experience mentoring and leading engineering teams, fostering collaboration, and driving technical excellence. Ability to conduct effective code reviews and enforce best practices.

• Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Proficiency in debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing complex systems, with a focus on delivering high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions.

• Excellent Communication: Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Adaptability and Initiative: Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities while guiding the team through changing project requirements and tight deadlines.
