We are seeking a Team Lead to manage and guide a team of engineers, ensuring high-quality delivery while fostering a strong culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with people leadership, making it ideal for someone who can balance execution with team development.
You will be responsible for driving delivery outcomes, maintaining engineering standards, and mentoring team members to grow both technically and professionally. Working closely with product managers and designers, you will ensure that technical solutions align with business goals and are delivered efficiently.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage a team of 5–8 engineers across backend, frontend, or mobile development
• Own end-to-end delivery for the squad, ensuring timelines, quality, and performance standards are met
• Maintain high code quality through reviews, best practices, and performance optimization
• Mentor and coach engineers to support their technical and career growth
• Conduct regular code reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and technical discussions
• Foster a culture of learning, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to prioritize work and align on deliverables
• Ensure technical solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with product requirements
• Identify and address challenges proactively to keep projects on track
What Makes You a Great Fit
• 6–8 years of engineering experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Strong technical background in backend, frontend, or mobile development
• Proficiency in technologies such as Java, Python, or Golang is a plus
• Proven ability to lead teams, drive delivery, and maintain engineering excellence
• Strong mentoring and coaching skills with a focus on team development
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to balance hands-on technical work with leadership responsibilities
• Experience working in fast-paced, product-driven environments
• Exposure to fintech, mobility, or consumer platforms is an added advantage
• Experience working with distributed teams is a plus
