To maintain manufacturing equipment through performing equipment set up, tools and equipment installation, equipment repairs, corrective and preventive maintenance.

ACTIVIDADES PRINCIPALES Y RESPONSABILIDADES - ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Solucionar problemas, probar y corregir mal funcionamiento de rutina del equipo. Ensambla o construye dispositivos, piezas o equipos simples o estándar, tales como prototipos, placas de prueba, accesorios de prueba, etc. Esto incluye el servicio y la reparación de los mismos dispositivos, piezas o equipos. Realiza una variedad de pruebas estandarizadas, que incluyen la configuración y el funcionamiento del equipo de prueba y el registro de datos de prueba. Troubleshoot, test and correct routine malfunctions of equipment. Assembles or constructs simple or standard devices, parts or equipment such as prototypes breadboards, test fixtures, etc. This includes servicing and repairing the same devices, parts or equipment. Conducts a variety of standardized tests, including setting up and operating test equipment and recording test data.

• Ejecuta procesos planificados. Puede ayudar en el proceso de planificación de pruebas y diseño de prototipos Executes pre-planned processes. May assist in planning process for test and prototype design.

• Aplica herramientas relacionadas con el proceso de mejora de la calidad según se requiera en la resolución de problemas y la toma de decisiones. Participa activamente en equipos de mejora de calidad. Applies quality improvement process-related tools as required in problem-solving and decision-making. Participates actively in quality improvement teams.

• Puesta en marcha del equipo durante la producción Equipment set up during production change over.

• Realizar el mantenimiento preventivo de los equipos de fabricación de acuerdo con los programas de mantenimiento preventivo. Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment according to preventive maintenance schedules.

• Instalar y depurar nuevos equipos bajo las instrucciones del supervisor o ingeniero. Install and debug new equipment under supervisor or engineer instruction.

• Participar en proyectos de transferencia de equipos. Participate on equipment transfer projects

• Mantener un inventario de repuestos para fines de PM. Maintain a spare part inventory for PM purposes.

• Montar e instalar nuevos equipos siguiendo dibujos y diagramas esquemáticos. Assemble and install new equipment following drawings and schematic diagrams.

• Mantener todos los equipos de fabricación de acuerdo con las pautas de seguridad y ergonomía. Maintain all manufacturing equipment in conformance with safety and ergonomic guidelines.

EDUCACIÓN EXPERIENCIA, CERTIFICACIONES Y HABILIDADES - EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Educación requerida – Education required:

Carrera técnica, (técnico electromecánico o técnico mecánico). Technical scholarship (electro-mechanical technician or mechanic technician).

Experiencia deseable – Desirable Experience:

Mas de 3 años de experiencia. More than 5 years of experience.
