Teamlead Flight Testing (m/f/d)

Your mission:
• Lead and manage a team of approximately 8 flight test engineers.
• Guide and oversee flight testing activities for product certification with regulatory bodies (FAA, ANAC, JCAB, EASA).
• Actively participate in Product Increment (PI) planning, representing the flight test team and ensuring alignment with product goals.
• Plan and estimate flight testing tasks, manage resources, timelines, and logistics for testing and validation projects.
• Apply expertise in UAV airworthiness and airmanship, ensuring safe and effective flight tests with appropriate instrumentation.
• Review and release flight test plans, cards, and reports to ensure quality and accuracy
• Work closely with certification, ground test, software, and hardware teams, and continuously improve flight test processes.

Your profile:
• You have a master’s degree in aviation engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a similar field.
• You have 10+ years of professional experience in manned or unmanned flight testing.
• You have more than 5 years of experience as a test manager.
• You have Proven leadership experience in managing flight test engineers or similar technical teams.
• You have experience in certification flight testing and working with regulatory authorities (ANAC, FAA, EASA, JCAB).
• You bring a strong understanding of test-driven development, experience-based testing, and iterative V-model production development cycles.
• You are familiar with Jira, Visure (requirement management tools), PX-4 auto flight controllers, and eVTOL UAS/manned aircraft systems. A1/A3 drone pilot license required.
