Are you a forward-thinking leader with a passion for driving technical delivery and project excellence? AECOM is seeking a Team Manager to lead client engagement, foster team development, and ensure governance across your portfolio.

How you’ll make a difference

• Support the execution of sector-specific strategies and drive profitable growth through effective client engagement and market differentiation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry partners, and stakeholders.
• Oversee recruitment, development, and succession planning for your team, including workshare across the sector
• Foster a supportive and inclusive work environment, empowering team members to take ownership and encouraging professional development.
• Ensure delivery excellence across all projects by maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
• Implement digital and AI initiatives within the sector and uphold project governance and delegation of authority requirements.
• Actively participate in technical and project management roles, including GNGs, project risk reviews, and governance reviews.
• Champion a Quality Mindset and ensure the consistent application of AECOM's policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, RICS) are an advantage.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management and technical delivery within the engineering or construction industry.
• Proven track record of leading teams and managing large-scale projects, particularly in the relevant sector (e.g., infrastructure, roads, or highways).
• Strong leadership and team development skills, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
• Excellent client engagement abilities, with a demonstrated history of building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
• Proficient in project governance and risk management, with experience in implementing approval processes.
• Knowledge of digital initiatives and their application within the engineering sector.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and navigate organizational change.
• A commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
