What the job is about

As a Team Leader, you will balance high-level strategic alignment with hands-on mentorship. Your goal is to foster an environment where continuous improvement is the norm and every team member feels empowered to grow.

• Strategic Leadership: Align team initiatives with Sofico’s local, regional, and global milestones.

• People Advocacy: Manage the full employee lifecycle, from high-impact recruitment and onboarding to long-term career coaching and performance management.

• Agile Mentorship: Guide multiple End2End agile teams through complex software implementations, ensuring delivery excellence.

• Culture of Innovation: Promote a "fail fast, learn faster" mindset, driving continuous process enhancements and collaborative problem-solving.

• Stakeholder Synergy: Act as the bridge between technical execution and client-facing goals, ensuring seamless communication across the organization.

Your interests and skills

You are a mix of a visionary coach and a pragmatic delivery expert. You understand that software is built by people, and your expertise lies in making those people successful.

The Essentials:

• Proven Leadership: Extensive experience leading and scaling teams, ideally within complex software implementation environments.

• Software Lifecycle Expertise: A good understanding of the E2E software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

• Technical Literacy: Experience with large-scale software configuration and the ability to navigate complex systems alongside your team.

• The "Coach" Mindset: You are passionate about career development, active listening, and building high-trust relationships.

• Language Mastery: Proficiency in German (C1) and English is required. Dutch is a significant advantage.
