The Role:

We are looking for a Team Leader – Desktop Publishers to join our team. As Team Leader of the Desktop Publishers Team, you will build Team Leadership & Mentorship, Workflow Optimization, Quality Assurance, Strategic Project Management, Cross-Functional Collaboration

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Mentorship

Leading a team of desktop publishers, managing project assignments, setting clear expectations and supporting their growth and overseeing performance evaluations and professional development.

Workflow Optimization

Developing best practices, standardizing production workflows, and integrating new technologies—such as AI-augmented publishing tools—to increase department efficiency. You will also need to build procedures and implement KPI’s to optimize the department.

Quality Assurance

Acting as the final authority on document accuracy, ensuring that typography, layout, and brand consistency meet strict organizational specifications

Strategic Project Management

Overseeing complex, high-profile projects from concept to final output, including managing multi-language publications and large-scale digital assets

Own the publishing workflow from start to finish, ensuring high-quality and on-time delivery.

Act as main escalation point for complex projects and production challenges.

Foster a culture of ownership, accountability and continuous improvement.

Production & Quality Assurance

Oversee print and digital pack production, including manual OTB creation and special projects.

Act as final gatekeeper for artwork checks, batch uploads and Webproof approvals.

Ensure accuracy and quality across all projects while meeting deadlines.

Process & Technical Leadership

Manage complex workflows, TopRef information and project documentation.

Collaborate with Tech and Design teams to improve automation and scale content production.

Identify process improvements and implement best practices.

Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.

Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume production.

Strong organizational and project management skills.

Leadership mindset: able to inspire, coach and hold team accountable.

Desired Competencies & Skills

Advanced print knowledge and colorproof/webproof workflows.

Data proficiency for managing global briefs and spreadsheets.
