Job Summary:
As part of the team, the FA crew leader will serve as a service provider, trainer and leader for assemblers as they perform repetitive assembly including unpacking and inspection of component parts. Position may require the use of various assembly tools such as pneumatic nail gun, staple gun, tape measure, glue gun and others. The FA crew leader will execute one or several assembly tasks in any area of the assembly lines. This individual must be able to follow both written and verbal instructions, be able to give verbal instructions and may be required to use sound judgment in resolving daily problems. The FA Crew Leader will use his technical and leadership skills to maintain the group at optimum output. The individual ensures the line’s objectives are met for Safety, Quality, Efficiency, and Productivity.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Ensure Safety Rules are followed at all times.
· Ensure Employee Guidelines are followed.
· Ensure the tasks that are being performed and parts being processed in his area meet quality standards.
· Ensure the tasks that are being performed in your area meet productivity standards.
· Report any safety hazard to supervisor.
· Maintain cleanliness of work area.
· Maintain adequate supply of parts and components
· Ensure proper care in the use of tools, equipment and supplies; promote continual improvement, safety and environmental practices.
· Ensure the integrity of the equipment is maintained.
· Select proper tooling and equipment needed to perform a job in a professional manner
· Provide direction and support to general assemblers in the assigned area
· Provide training for general assemblers in the assigned area
· Complete all other duties as assigned.
