The Team Lead for Product Experts oversees a regional team responsible for the Air/Belt and Peeling product portfolio across EMEA. This role ensures technical excellence, consistent training delivery, and high-quality support for internal stakeholders and service teams. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership with good product and application knowledge, enabling the team to provide best-in-class technical back-office support and technical development services. 

This is a hybrid role based in our Leuven office.

Key responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Development:

• Empower and mentor experts for performance and growth.
• Set goals, KPIs, and priorities aligned with strategy.
• Build collaborative, customer-focused team culture.
• Optimize resources and workloads.

Technical Back-Office Support

• Oversee support for Air/Belt and Peeling portfolio.
• Handle escalations, analysis, and documentation.
• Collaborate on issues, insights, and best practices for uptime.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Deliver training and learning paths for teams/partners.
• Support certifications and skill evaluations.

Continuous Improvement

• Enhance processes, tools, and standardization.
• Provide insights for portfolio strategy.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Food Technology or related field (Master’s is a plus).
• Experience in product or technical roles, ideally within a service organisation for industrial equipment.
• Leadership experience with the ability to guide and develop technical teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle technical challenges.
• Customer-focused approach and commitment to service quality.
• Very good English and Dutch skills; French or German is an advantage.
• Experience with ERP/CRM systems (preferably D365).
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 30%.
