As Team Lead/Head of Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding, you will be the guardian of our talent bar - ensuring we don’t just attract the best, but hire the right ones. You’ll lead a high-impact team and play a crucial role in shaping the future of Westwing by identifying talents who deliver exceptional results and embody our culture. This is a role for a strategic doer: someone who thrives in fast-paced, low-budget environments, rolls up their sleeves, and brings creative ideas to life. Someone who challenges leaders, not just supports them. Someone who dares to push for better hiring decisions and builds a recruiting function that’s as aspirational as our brand. This position is based in Munich and limited to 1 year (maternity cover). However, we don't like to let go of great talent - if you make a lasting impact, we’ll do our best to ensure your journey with Westwing continues in another key People function.


WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Own and elevate our recruiting strategy with clear focus on quality, efficiency, and scalability

• Lead, coach, and inspire a global team of 7, while also getting hands-on in critical searches

• Act as a sparring partner for hiring managers and senior leaders; challenging, advising, and steering hiring decisions

• Continuously improve recruiting processes with a data- and impact-driven mindset, leveraging automation and AI where it makes us better

• Build strong, long-term pipelines for key roles and future growth areas
• Champion our employer brand and candidate experience, with limited budgets, but big ideas


YOU COME WITH:
• 6+ years in People & Culture in a high-performance environment (including 1+ year in a leadership role), with a proven track record in Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding 

• Proven ability to deliver results without large budgets, thinking in impact, applying a sharp eye for performance & cultural fit

• Expertise in senior stakeholder management and the courage to challenge decisions to ensure we hire the right talent

• A growth mindset and strong business acumen, translating strategy into talent needs by deeply understanding our industry and business model

• Passion for innovation, leveraging AI-driven automation and modern tools to constantly raise the bar for efficiency and candidate experience
• Fluency in English and German with strong written and verbal communication skills
