SouthTek Resources is urgently searching for a Team Lead Developer Architect to lead this excellent client in developing a Next-Generation, Secure, Multi-Threaded, High-Performance, High-Throughput, High Capacity, Big Data Platform that powers their applications throughout the SIGINT workflow & normalizes, filters, & supports huge volumes of data, with minimal server footprint. This is a high impact role on an incredibly complex technological challenge.

Responsibilities:

• You will operate as technical lead providing leadership and expertise to the internal technical teams for large deployments, you will have extensive experience of the Microsoft development environment/SDLC, technical architecture and configuration management to make sure quality products are delivered.

• Make performance & algorithmic enhancements to a high performance large-scale(LS) multithreaded C# real-time event system that handles millions of messages/events & real-time SIGINT data from a highly distributed network of various global sensors, receivers, antennae, and collection points on a daily basis.

• This is a high impact role on an incredibly complex technological challenge.

• Develop applications for state of the art next generation surveillance countermeasure products and services

• Assume the Point Position Leading small to medium size teams through the entire Software Development Life-cycle (SDLC) and Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC).

• Mentor Jr Developers and provide expertise

Qualifications:

– Department of Defense TOP SECRET security clearance is required.

– Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our client’s facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. If you meet the Federal Guidelines, please submit your resume as this firm can get you cleared with a Top Secret Clearance.

• You must be a Technically broad, high performing engineer with experience in real-time systems and enterprise software with hands-on experience in the design, development, integration and test of extremely high volume and highly scalable web services software/hardware systems.

• You must have proven ability to manage performance between individual contributions and team management. Demonstrates ability to take ownership of project from design to delivery.

• Experience in the design, architecture and build of Big Data platform capable of handling Terabytes and Petabytes of data.

• In-depth knowledge of CS data structures and algorithms

• Strong problem solving ability and object-oriented design skills

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, startup-like environment

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related discipline

• 8+ years of software development experience

• Strong development skills in C#, C++/C, Multithreading, Sockets, Concurrency, Networking Protocols, OO Designs/UML, Ultra-High-Throughput, High-Frequency, Low-Level, Large-Scale, Load balanced, High Availability, Fault tolerant systems, optimization on advanced multi-core architecture.

• Proven expertise in the Microsoft environment, including C#, C++, Dot-Net, SQL Server, ADO.NET, etc,,,.

• Expertise in spearheading and implementing Agile methodologies into the development team's development practices

• Knowledge of security industry, including prevailing technology trends in high tech electronic surveillance, signals intelligence and countermeasures products is a BIG PLUS

Pluses Include any or all of the following:

• Experience implementing data centric technologies: Postgresql, Cassandra, Hadoop, ElasticSearchDB, eXtremeDb,Impala etc is a +!

• Matlab/Simulink – Used for signal processing projects/control simulations.

• FPGA work is a + !

• CUDA work is a + !

• Real time - distributed IO systems.

• SIGINT

• RF System Calibration

• DSP

• Circuit trouble shooting using Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, and Power Meters

• Automated Code Generation Architectures
