• Shift: 1st (Mon-Fri, Sat/Sun 4am/6am - 2pm)

• Facility Details: Tier One Automotive Supplier painting bumpers for GM, FCA, and Ford by chrome plating, painting, polishing, and packaging steel shells of bumpers

Job Summary
Supervises the activities of production personnel engaged in all facets of the manufacturing function. A level I supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

Job Description:
Duties & Responsibilities Information:
• Ensures workstations meet all safety, 1+5S and TPM requirements by being actively involved with the assessment of all workstations per Quality and 1+5S guidelines
• Reviews all Method Sheets that apply to work performed within the department and facilitates training of all employees per proper Method Sheets and Training Procedures with HR
• Facilitates proper scanning of work orders within the Oracle Production System to ensure accurate production reporting and inventory; ensures all rework tickets are filled out and turned in to the proper department
• Influences team members by displaying a positive proactive work ethic that sets the standards for maintaining a safe, productive work environment while setting and maintaining high quality standards and striving for continuous improvement
• Functions as a working production team member as needed
• Maintains First5 Boards and conducts First5 Meeting in Supervisors absence
• Facilitates and helps maintain all lean enterprise initiatives, 1+5S, TPM, VSM requirements
• Signs off on all completed department outbound production prior to movement to the next level of production
• Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Leader
Notes : Must have five years of hands on industrial manufacturing, experience, preferably in rotating equipment applications

• Physical Demands include: Bending, standing, twisting, lifting up to 30-40lbs
• This is a paint shop – it will smell like paint (all non-hazardous)
• Ability to work 8-10 hours / day, as well as work weekends when scheduled

• Accept and carry out all instructions provided by management
