What does the role involve?
This is a Permanent Part-Time role for 4 days. Reporting to the Programs & Advancement Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing high-quality administrative and operational support to drive efficiency across both departments.
Key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
Coordinate financial operations including processing Departmental expenses and invoices, reconciliation and approvals
Maintenance of filing and systems including implementation of improvements across systems and processes
Providing event and meeting support including calendar management, agendas, actions, catering, maintaining of office supplies and ensuring meeting spaces are organised
Organising and managing travel and accommodation arrangements for Department staff
This role is based in our Mascot office and will work a hybrid model, including two days in the office per week.
Who are we looking for?
The successful candidate will have a deep commitment to Caritas Australia’s mission to end poverty and injustice by promoting human dignity for all, as well as a dedication to the principles of Catholic Social Teaching that guide our global efforts. They will have a mix of the following qualifications, skills and experience:
Certificate III or IV in Business Administration or equivalent or progress towards one
Minimum 1 - 3 years’ experience administrative support in a multiteam or fast-paced environment
Experience in ensuring timely completion of project tasks and effective stakeholder management
Experience in acquittals, reconciliations and payment processes
Adaptable to different systems and technology
