Hiring Unit – Department of Medicine, Division of Experimental Medicine
Position Summary:
The successful candidate will contribute to the course by engaging in various tasks as assigned by course instructors. This includes but is not limited to grading homework assignments and exams, assisting with organization and management of relevant course materials (e.g., myCourses), invigilating exams, and providing consultation and guidance to students, such as homework and exam reviews and explaining points of confusion.
Qualifications:
• Only Current Masters or Doctoral student registered at McGill are eligible to apply as Teaching Assistant. PhD preferred (subject areas: Epidemiology, Experimental Medicine, Biostatistics, or similar fields).
• Excellent understanding of epidemiologic analysis and concepts. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Successful completion of EPIB 601, EPIB 602 (or PPHS 602), and EPIB 603 at McGill or equivalent courses at another university
• Must be eligible to work in Canada.
NOTE: All candidates will have to fill out the questionnaire and upload relevant documents (Study permit (if applicable)/Proof of enrollment for Fall 2026 term).
