This posting is for one unionized contractual appointment. A Teaching Assistant is a Graduate Student employed to assist the Course Supervisor as a Teaching Assistant in a classroom environment. Teaching Assistant Positions are governed by the Collective Agreement between McGill University and the Association of Graduate Students Employed at McGill (AGSEM).

Position Summary:

This requisition is for one (1) TA position in the Department of Integrated Studies in Education (DISE).

Course dates are July 2, 2026, to July 16, 2026.

Effective dates of appointment are June 22, 2026, to July 31, 2026.

Responsibilities may include:

• Marking and grading.

• Preparing course materials.

• Assisting students’ learning.

• Leading discussing.

• Project supervision.

• Providing feedback to students on presentations and/or coursework.

• Exam assistance.

• Email communications, online course management, and other contact hours.

• Attending classes (MTWR, 09:05 am - 12:55 pm).

Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate (master’s or PhD) student enrolled at McGill University.

• Familiarity with course content.
