Teacher (Structured Learning & STEM – Open to New Graduates)

CedarLabs (https://cedarlb.com) is a brand-new education center in Lebanon dedicated to providing engaging and interactive learning experiences for students of all ages. Our programs emphasize STEM education, hands-on learning, and practical skills in engineering, coding, and design. We are looking for a talented engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in developing innovative projects and supporting classroom activities.

We are looking for a motivated and creative teacher to join our team. Experienced teachers and new graduates are both welcome to apply. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching children, experience with structured learning methods, and a passion for education. While experience with STEM subjects is a plus, the ability to guide students through self-paced learning and ensure understanding of fundamental concepts is essential.

 

Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to different age groups.

- Teach students using a structured, step-by-step approach that encourages mastery of fundamental skills in math and literacy.

- Create an interactive and supportive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to learn.

- Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of various learning styles.

- Encourage problem-solving, critical thinking, and independent learning.

- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to students and parents.

- Develop hands-on activities and projects to enhance learning, particularly in STEM-related subjects.

- Help students build confidence in self-paced learning and gradual skill development.

- Maintain a well-organized and safe learning environment.

- Bachelor’s degree in Education (BSc in Education is required). Higher degrees are welcomed.

- Experience teaching children is preferred, but new graduates with a passion for education are encouraged to apply.

- Familiarity with structured, self-paced learning approaches that help students develop mastery of subjects.

- Strong classroom management and communication skills.

- Passion for engaging students and making learning fun and effective.

- Ability to adapt lessons to different age groups and learning styles.

- Fluency in English and Arabic (both spoken and written).

- Interest or experience in STEM education, robotics, coding, or hands-on projects is a plus but not required.
