This is an on-site position and can be based from any of Asure's hub office locations including Austin, TX; Santa Ana, CA; Burlington, VT; Cherry Hill, NJ; Rochester, NY; Tampa, FL; or Cherry Hill, NJ
How you will contribute
The primary duties of the Implementation Tax Specialist are to ensure that new customers are compliant with onboarding requirements.
Inspect customer power-of-attorney forms to ensure they are properly completed.
Mail/fax/email forms to the appropriate tax agencies on a regular basis
Ensure 8655 forms are submitted to the IRS in accordance with RAF program require
Assist with audits of Evolution tax setups. as new accounts are live. Account numbers, tax rates and all applicable taxes should be reviewed during this audit to ensure completeness and accuracy for future tax payments and filings.
Process RAF Name Controls
Notify originators when IRS FEINs do not pass the validation process.
Update and maintain bank account setups within APTM.
Updating Preparer IDs in APTM for Direct Bank clients as needed via automated email requests.
Initiate and monitor the TPA bot; ensure MQ start customer immediately address TPA enrollments.
Maintain and distribute team metrics
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
AA degree in a business-related field of study or equivalent work experience
Above average communication skills
Must possess a sense of urgency
The ability to multi-task with excellent follow-up skills
Mandatory overtime during heaving processing months
Compensation
The base range for this role is $75,000 - $85,000 depending on level of experience.
