About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Operations Support to join our growing tax team. This role is ideal for someone early in their tax career who is interested in building a strong foundation in U.S. tax operations and compliance within a fund administration environment.

In this role, you will support day-to-day tax operations across a portfolio of investment funds, assist with tax filings and information reporting, and help maintain accurate tax data and documentation. You will work closely with experienced tax professionals and cross-functional partners to ensure tax processes are executed accurately and on time.

The Tax Operations Support will report to the Tax Manager and collaborate with tax team members, fund accounting, finance, legal, and other operations teams. This role is well-suited for candidates who are highly organized, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

You will:

• Support day-to-day tax operations under the guidance of senior team members

• Assist with the preparation, filing, and organization of U.S. federal and state tax returns, including extensions

• Support information reporting processes, including Form 1099 preparation and filing

• Help track, organize, and support responses to federal and state tax notices

• Perform tax-related operational tasks tied to fund accounting, such as recording and reconciling transactions from a tax perspective

• Maintain and update client and fund tax data across systems, including assisting with historical data cleanup

• Help prepare and organize tax documentation and workpapers

• Coordinate with internal teams to gather information needed for tax compliance and reporting

• Learn to read and apply IRS forms, instructions, and guidance in support of tax operations

• Contribute to process improvements and documentation as the tax team scales

You have:

• 1–4 years of experience in accounting, tax, fund administration, or a related role (internships welcome)

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Basic understanding of federal and state tax concepts

• Interest in partnership taxation and investment fund structures

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with guidance and support

• Clear written and verbal communication skills

• Comfort working and learning new systems and tools

• CPA eligibility or progress toward certification (a plus, not required)
