Tax Intern

About The Role

As our Tax Intern, you will hold an important role within the Tax team "wheel" of GoTo group that directly impacts GoTo’s stakeholders. In this role, you will get to maintain day-to-day tax compliance matters and also contribute to tax dispute processes. The Finance Accounting team will be your companions during this ride. Best yet, you will have the opportunity to flex your analytical and management skills, getting us even closer to our ultimate goal of ensuring consistent and efficient earnings stability.

What You Will Do:
• Maintain day-to-day tax compliance matters; including preparation of monthly and annual tax calculation/payment/returns, i.e. WHT, VAT, CIT)
• Follow procedures and timeline to operate tax compliance matters
• Provide support in the event of tax audit, financial audit, due diligence, or any tax dispute process (e.g. collate the required data/documents for the said processes)

What You Will Need :
• Final year student of Economics (Majoring in Accounting or Management) or Social Science (Majoring in Fiscal Administration) with minimum GPA of 3.00 (4.00 Scale)
• Oral & written English skill (basic level)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, and high-growth organization
• Able to work well individually and as a team player

About The Team

Our Tax team, a subsidiary of the Finance Accounting and Tax team, consists of around 22 people who are all based in Indonesia. Working alongside the Finance Operations, we are predominantly concerned with ensuring all tax regulations have been followed properly and maintaining that tax compliances are regulated.
