Tax Associate (Remote) | LATAM & Philippines

We are seeking experienced and detail-oriented Tax Associates to join one of our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax preparation and compliance, with at least three years of hands-on experience preparing individual and/or business tax returns. This role requires excellent analytical skills, knowledge of current tax regulations, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, and partnerships
• Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations
• Analyze financial records, accounting data, and supporting documentation
• Identify tax-saving opportunities and provide recommendations to clients or management
• Assist with tax planning and research on complex tax issues
• Respond to tax notices and assist with audits when necessary
• Maintain accurate and organized client files and documentation
• Stay current on changes in tax laws and industry regulations

Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience preparing tax returns
• Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations
• Experience with tax preparation software and accounting systems
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines during peak tax seasons
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is a plus
• Public accounting or tax firm experience preferred
