Tax Associate- Relocate to UAE

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Tax Associate to support our finance team with timely and accurate tax reporting, compliance, and analysis. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in tax accounting while working closely with internal stakeholders and external auditors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file VAT returns, corporate tax filings, and other regulatory reports in compliance with local tax laws
• Support the team in conducting tax calculations, reconciliations, and audits
• Assist in maintaining tax documentation, working papers, and transaction records
• Research tax laws and updates to ensure compliance and identify savings opportunities
• Coordinate with accounts payable/receivable teams for transaction-level tax checks
• Work closely with external consultants or tax authorities during audits or inquiries
• Assist in the preparation of transfer pricing documentation, Zakat/Withholding Tax, or other region-specific obligations (if applicable)
• Support in managing and improving internal processes related to tax filings and reporting
• Monitor changes in tax regulations and proactively communicate their impact to relevant teams

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
• Pursuing or completed certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or UAE VAT diploma (preferred)
• 1–2 years of experience in tax, accounting, or audit (Experience in India for UAE clients is considered)
• Working knowledge of UAE VAT and tax compliance (or applicable country laws)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software like Tally, QuickBooks, or SAP
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure
