Tax Analyst - International

About the Role

As part of the Tax – International team, you will support the company’s international tax matters, including compliance, reporting, and ongoing tax-related activities. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate data, supporting tax-related transactions, and assisting with day-to-day international tax operations.

What You Will Do:
• Assist in all tax compliance workstreams and statutory reporting for Singapore operations for corporate income tax, withholding tax, and indirect taxes, including: preparing tax returns and income tax provisions; conducting regular health checks; extracting reports from accounting systems; analyzing and reconciling numbers from different sources; tax accounting reconciliation; and working closely with finance and transfer pricing teams
• May support in adhoc compliance workstreams for China operations
• Coordinate cross-border transactions to ensure appropriate tax treatment and alignment with group policies.
• Support with tax audits and due dilligences by working with internal stakeholders and external advisors to gather information and address tax-related queries.
• Assist with research and implementation of various tax initiatives which includes working closely with stakeholders to understand the tax impact of business operations and ensure that tax needs are identified, considered and communicated
• Monitor changes in Singapore tax regulations and support timely implementation and documentation under guidance.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for tax and compliance purposes.

What You Will Need:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of corporate tax and / or indirect tax experience in a Big 4 firm and/ or a commercial environment (international exposure is an advantage).
• Strong financial acumen, analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal; ability to communicate clearly with regional stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth, and evolving environment.
• Able to work independently with guidance, as well as collaboratively within a team.

Our Tax International team works closely with stakeholders across the business to support tax compliance, advisory and cross-border activities. In this role, you will be a core team member, responsible for supporting day-to-day tax operations and ensuring regulatory requirements are met!
