You will utilize your certification, analytical skills, and enthusiasm for clear communication to review, prepare, and verify tax documents. This position is perfect for detail-oriented individuals dedicated to maintaining the highest levels of tax compliance while working remotely.

Requirements:
Key Responsibilities

• Examine and verify tax documents for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to applicable regulations.
• Generate, process, and file various tax submissions on behalf of both clients and the organization.
• Work collaboratively with junior team members, offering guidance and reviewing their contributions to uphold quality standards.
• Keep current with local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations.
• Engage in clear and professional communication with team members and stakeholders through both written and verbal means.
• Evaluate and annotate financial information to facilitate accurate tax reporting and filing.
• Recognize and report discrepancies or potential issues to senior tax professionals or management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Certified tax agent with demonstrated knowledge in tax preparation and filing.
• Considerable experience in reviewing tax documents and forms.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with a focus on precision and clarity.
• Outstanding attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Capability to operate independently in a remote environment, effectively managing deadlines and priorities.
• Thorough understanding of current tax laws, codes, and industry best practices.
• Experience with data annotation or managing financial data.

Preferred Qualifications

• Mid to senior level experience in handling intricate tax filings and reviews.
• Prior experience in overseeing or ensuring quality assurance for the tax work of junior staff.
• Proficiency in using digital tax software and remote collaboration tools.
