Tax Accountant – International Tax

Ebury Leon Office - Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home per week

The Finance team is a strong and growing part of the business. We’re looking for an individual who can support and challenge us in our journey to take our tax controls to the next level.

The Tax Accountant will work within the Finance and Tax team in Finance, supporting the Head of Tax to establish a strong control framework for Ebury.

The Finance and Tax team is responsible for maintaining proper accounting records both locally and at a Group level, including financial and management reporting and regulatory reporting for tax purposes. The role will incorporate establishing and enhancing control measures and identifying opportunities for Ebury to be more efficient and effective. The Tax Accountant will focus on all areas of international tax, including transfer pricing, withholding tax management and assistance in Brazilian tax compliance.

What you’ll do

• Providing support in the preparation of transfer pricing documentation and filings across multiple jurisdictions.

• Providing support in the preparation withholding tax returns in multiple jurisdictions.

• Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports

• Collaboration in the audit process

• Providing support to external advisors relating to tax reporting in Brazil

• Providing support to the accounting teams with respect to tax accounting

What you’ll need

• University degree in Accounting, Business Management, Economics or similar.

• Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and ERP (NetSuite/Oracle, SAP and NAV).

• Portuguese (C1), English (C1), Spanish (C1), other languages are a plus.

• Exposure to corporation tax and reporting.

• Detail-oriented, professional attitude and highly reliable.

• Strong skills in problem-solving, basic accounting principles, teamwork, documentation, data analysis and multi-tasking.

• Experience working with Netsuite (ERP), and Invoicing systems

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
