Overview:
We are currently seeking a hands-on and motivated Tankering & Jetting Site Supervisor to lead operations across our drainage and utilities contracts, working primarily on the Anglian Water network. This is a field-based supervisory role with a mix of operational support, team leadership, and Health & Safety responsibility.
As a Supervisor, you will:
Lead, coordinate, and support jetting and tankering crews to ensure efficient and compliant delivery of work.
Be the on-site contact for clients and customers—explaining work, answering queries, and providing real-time updates.
Conduct site audits, promote safe working practices, and ensure compliance with company and regulatory procedures.
Oversee maintenance of jetting units, tankers, PPE, and tools—ensuring all equipment is operational and in good condition.
Assist with high-pressure water jetting, blockage clearance, waste removal, and flood response where required.
Mentor less experienced team members, supporting development in confined space entry, CCTV inspection, and digital reporting.
Work closely with planners to manage crew schedules, asset usage, and productivity.
Ensure accurate completion of job sheets, risk assessments (RAMS), and service reports using digital devices.
About you:
Previous experience in drainage, utilities, jetting, or tankering operations
Experience supervising teams or acting in a lead operative role
Strong leadership and organisational skills
A full UK driving licence
Confident in using digital devices (tablet/laptop) for reporting and documentation
Strong understanding of Health & Safety practices in field-based operations
Willingness to work flexible hours and travel across the Anglian region
