Job Description

We’re looking for a Talent & Media Operations Manager to be the primary owner of relationships, execution, and outcomes for our roster of podcast hosts and professional speakers. This role sits at the intersection of talent management, media operations, and live execution.

This is a hands-on role. You’ll be managing real people, real schedules, real sponsors, and real deadlines—not tickets or dashboards.

What You’ll Own

Talent Management & Relationships


Serve as the main point of contact (“concierge”) for podcasters and speakers in our network


Onboard new talent: collect bios, headshots, tech specs, media kits, and availability


Build trusted, professional relationships while managing expectations clearly


Conduct regular check-ins to ensure talent is supported, aligned, and retained

Campaign & Media Execution


Coordinate podcast sponsorships: ad reads, approvals, timelines, and delivery


Manage logistics for live and virtual speaking engagements (scheduling, AV, run-of-show, follow-ups)


Own execution end-to-end so talent can focus on performance, not logistics


Troubleshoot last-minute changes or issues calmly and decisively

Growth, Renewals & Upsell Support


Track talent performance, sponsor outcomes, and engagement results


Identify renewal and expansion opportunities across sponsorships and talent offerings


Support upsells and cross-promotions within the network


Create simple, clear success summaries for sponsors and internal teams

Brand & Professional Representation


Ensure talent is represented professionally and consistently


Maintain a high bar for communication, responsiveness, and execution quality


Collect testimonials, feedback, and case studies to support growth

Who This Role Is For


You’ve worked in media, podcasting, talent management, PR, events, or creator partnerships


You’re comfortable managing personalities, pressure, and ambiguity


You enjoy being the “fixer” and owner when things are live or time-sensitive


You communicate clearly, confidently, and professionally with high-profile individuals


You are organized, detail-oriented, and reliable under pressure

Who This Role Is Not For


This is not a traditional SaaS Customer Success role


This is not primarily a ticketing, QBR, or dashboard-driven job


This is not a passive coordination role—you will own outcomes

Requirements


3+ years experience in talent relations, media operations, account management, PR, events, or agency environments


Strong written and verbal communication skills


Comfortable working with creators, speakers, and sponsors


Highly organized and capable of managing multiple active engagements at once


Tech-comfortable: CRM tools (HubSpot/Salesforce), project management tools (Asana/Monday), and media or analytics platforms

Bonus Points


Experience with podcast networks, speaker bureaus, or creator platforms


Background in sponsorships, branded content, or live event execution


Strong judgment and ability to de-escalate issues with professionalism


Natural “host” mentality—empathetic, composed, and service-oriented
