We’re looking for a Talent Management Specialist to own and elevate the full people experience at Hook & Ladder, from attracting and hiring top talent to designing meaningful internal experiences that keep our team engaged, supported, and proud to be part of HL.
You’ll partner closely with hiring managers and external recruiters, ensuring that our sourcing efforts are targeted, our screenings are consistent and insightful, and our candidate experience is smooth and respectful from start to finish.
If you love the hunt for great talent and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, this role is for you. This is a remote-first role, but we do require the ability to be on-site occasionally to handle logistics, deliveries, or local team coordination.
What you’ll be doing:

Candidate Experience & Communication: Maintain a clear, respectful, and timely candidate experience. Ensure candidates understand the process, expectations, and next steps at every stage.
Stakeholder Management & Hiring Partner Support: Collaborate closely with hiring managers and external recruiting partners. Provide direction, feedback, calibrations, and continuous updates to keep hiring aligned and efficient.
Talent Operations & Coordination: Coordinate meaningful team member experiences across the company, including logistics for team trips or cross-city visits, global welcome packages for new hires, and appreciation and recognition initiatives and organize agendas and follow-ups on company-wide meetings.
