The Talent Acquisition Specialist-University Programs role will be key in attracting, engaging, and supporting students/graduates for internships and entry-level roles. This position will focus on managing and expanding our college internship program, including building strong partnerships with universities, attending career fairs, and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee the company's college internship program.
Develop relationships with career services offices, faculty, and student organizations at target universities.
Act as a liaison between the company and universities.
Attend campus events and fairs.
Assist in the selection, onboarding, and mentoring coordination for interns.
Track intern performance and support efforts to convert successful interns into full-time employees.
Maintain connections with top interns until full-time employment begins.
Organize database with up-to-date staffing requirements for each branch location and update as needed.
Post open positions on various job boards and college portals to increase candidates.
Develop and maintain professional relationships with colleges, universities, and placement offices as a source to generate qualified applicants.
Support registration process and attend job/career fairs to communicate opportunities within our company and create awareness for future openings.
Screen and refer applicant resumes to the hiring manager for formal interviews.
Coordinate and oversee the company's college internship program.
Maintaining confidential electronic employee files ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Document workflow and procedures, and proactively identify opportunities for process improvement.
Assist the HR team with various projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree.
2+ years' experience in recruiting, admissions, or campus recruitment.
Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft office
Ability to handle data with a high-level of confidentiality
Schedule:
Typically: Monday through Friday.
Nights and weekend hours on occasionally.
This is a fully in person role.
