Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist
Location: Remote. LMR's corporate offices are located in Florida and Texas.
Job Description:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will partner with hiring managers to select candidates to fill high-volume government contracting positions located throughout the United States and overseas.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
Collaborates with hiring managers and uses the Performance Work Statement (PWS) to identify and draft accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on open positions, industry standards, and the contract.
Sources passive talent through LinkedIn Recruiter and other creative methods and establishes networking relationships with a diverse pool of candidates.
Screens applications and selects qualified candidates; schedules interviews.
Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with program managers and senior leadership team.
Maintains accurate documentation of all candidates at every stage of the pipeline following OFCCP recruiting guidelines.
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, company policies, and OFCCP guidelines.
Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience.
3 to 5 years of government contracting recruiting experience.
Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment.
Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other candidate search technology.
Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems.
Familiarity with OFCCP guidelines for recruiting.
