Talent Acquisition Sourcer
Technology & Product
About the Role
Talent Acquisition is a core strategic driver of iCapital’s success. As a Talent Acquisition Sourcer, you will play a critical role in building proactive, always‑on pipelines of world‑class technical talent across iCapital’s broad and evolving portfolio.
This role is deeply market‑facing and consultative. You will develop strong business acumen across multiple teams, understand nuanced technical and cultural needs, and own the match between talent and teams from first outreach through recruiter handoff. You will partner closely with Recruiting Partners, Hiring Managers, and technical leaders to deliver exceptional candidate experiences and high‑impact hiring outcomes.
This position reports to the Head of Technology and Product Recruiting within Talent Acquisition.
Responsibilities
• Build and manage proactive talent pipelines across Technology and Product while developing deep business knowledge of iCapital’s diverse teams and initiatives
• Develop and execute multi‑channel sourcing strategies (LinkedIn, referrals, networking, technical communities, events, and creative outreach) to attract passive, high‑caliber technical talent
• Build and maintain robust, always‑on candidate pipelines for technical roles across the iCapital organization
• Become a subject matter expert in aligned technical domains while collaborating across the broader Talent Acquisition team to identify the best possible home for each candidate
• Conduct intake and sourcing sessions with Hiring Managers and technical partners to understand role requirements, team dynamics, and ideal candidate profiles
• Perform proactive outreach, candidate engagement, and initial screening to assess technical background, experience, motivation, and role alignment
• Partner closely with Recruiting Partners and Hiring Managers to ensure a seamless, high‑quality candidate experience from first contact through offer stage
• Collaborate fluidly across teams to place talent where the strongest fit exists across iCapital—not limited to a single function or organization
• Continuously map target companies, talent ecosystems, and relevant technical communities to inform sourcing strategies
• Leverage AI‑powered tools throughout the sourcing lifecycle, including intake preparation, outreach personalization, candidate screening, and recruiter handoff, to drive efficiency and elevate quality
• Maintain accurate candidate data and pipeline visibility within Greenhouse, ensuring data integrity and reporting transparency
• Communicate pipeline health, sourcing progress, and market insights to recruiters and stakeholders through regular updates
• Contribute to team‑wide sourcing best practices, AI adoption initiatives, and process improvements that continuously raise the bar for Talent Acquisition
• Supporting other areas outside of Tech/Product as needs arise.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• 2–5+ years of talent sourcing or recruiting experience in an in‑house or agency environment; fintech or financial services experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to source, assess, and engage technical talent across areas such as:
• Software Engineering (Frontend, Backend, Full Stack)
• DevOps / Infrastructure
• QA / Automation
• Corporate Technology
• Product
• Data Science, AI/ML, or Quantitative roles (a plus)
• Proven experience conducting resume reviews and initial screening conversations to evaluate technical alignment and candidate readiness
• Advanced sourcing experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other candidate discovery platforms
• Strong consultative mindset with the ability to translate business needs into targeted sourcing strategies
• Highly organized, data‑driven, and comfortable managing multiple pipelines simultaneously
• Self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative, and evolving environment
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with recruiters, hiring managers, and technical stakeholders
