Job Summary

Come join Square Enix as our new Talent Acquisition & Development Partner! This unique role focuses on two areas: recruiting exceptional talent for our European offices in London, Paris, and Hamburg, and helping develop our existing Square Enix talent. This is a collaborative role where you’ll partner with hiring managers in sourcing and recruiting roles across a range of departments in our European offices. You’ll also partner with the broader HR team (EMEA and North America) to help ensure accessibility to, and consistency for learning and development activity, with a core focus on facilitating and guiding individuals on development opportunities within the organization.

It is anticipated that in an average month 60% of your time will be dedicated to Talent Acquisition activity, however this will depend on seasonality. It is a core expectation for this role that the individual is happy to play an active part in the wider HR team with a can-do attitude and approach to undertaking assigned tasks that could include general HR administration tasks outside of the core responsibilities: this is a hands on role with end to end ownership of assigned tasks as processes for the European offices. You will work closely with key stakeholders across our organisation to deliver on your goals.

This role is hybrid with three days in-office requirement.


Requirements:
Talent Acquisition

• Deliver a top-notch service led approach to all hiring activity (internal stakeholders, candidates, external vendors).
• Collaborate with hiring managers to write and post job descriptions and adverts.
• Sourcing and candidate pipelines

• End-to-end ownership from screening to shortlist through interview to offer stage for assigned vacancies.
• Ensures effective transition from talent acquisition to onboarding.
• Owns candidate communications, contracting and onboarding set up.

• Provides regular reporting updates to Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, hiring managers and HR leadership.
• Support with employer branding activity, early careers and work experience initiatives.
• Champion talent acquisition best practices and manager development to ensure consistently high-quality screening.
• Work with hiring managers to hone appropriate Job Descriptions.
• Salary benchmarking and industry research.

Talent Development

• Implementation of Talent Development practices across Europe offices.
• Support employees’ career journey by providing consistent access to L&D resources, reporting on uptake and efficacy, acting as internal champion for development.
• Help create and maintain key employee life-cycle training.
• Maintain LMS and learning content libraries, with focus on curating appropriate content for local audiences.
• Manages internal L&D processes including training request tickets, course booking and associated admin.

General

• Manage external TA and TD vendor relationships.
• Support core HR annual cycle activities.
• Other HR administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• 4+ years of experience in end-to-end recruiting and/or talent development.
• Proven ability to build effective relationships with hiring managers.
• Experience managing multiple open vacancies with global stakeholders.
• Experience using AI-powered or data-driven HR / recruiting systems (e.g., AI-based sourcing, screening, or talent management platforms) is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with recruiting and sourcing best practices including impact of regulations such as GDPR.
• Experience using an Applicant Tracking System or CRM tool; Workable or Dayforce knowledge preferred.
• Familiarity with talent development best practices and experience implementing new initiatives.
• High level of integrity and the demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner.
• Proactive and willing to assist our broader HR team.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
