Job Description

Day to Day

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement ETL jobs using Talend to support enterprise data integration requirements.

• Build scalable data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from multiple data sources into target systems.

• Develop and maintain UNIX shell scripts and SQL scripts to support ETL workflows and batch processing.

• Design, configure, and administer ETL job scheduling using Autosys.

• Perform complex data transformations using Talend components and SQL queries.

• Develop and optimize SQL queries for large datasets, ensuring efficient data processing and performance.

• Support unit testing, UAT testing, and production deployments for ETL jobs.

• Monitor ETL workflows and provide production support, troubleshooting job failures and resolving data issues.

• Perform performance tuning and enhancements on existing ETL jobs to meet evolving system and business requirements.

• Manage Talend server administration tasks, including job monitoring, deployment management, and runtime support.

• Work closely with data architects, application teams, and business stakeholders to ensure reliable data integration solutions.

• Provide daily, weekly, and monthly production support as required.
