This role plays a critical part in supporting estimating, project execution, and project closeout activities for mechanical construction projects. Key Responsibilities
Perform quantity takeoffs for plumbing, hydronic piping, and ductwork systems to support estimating and project planning efforts
Communicate and coordinate with vendors and suppliers via phone and email to obtain pricing, product information, and lead times
Order and manage project prints and drawings to support estimating and project teams
Prepare and organize submittal packages in accordance with project specifications and requirements
Assemble and finalize Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals to support project closeout and client turnover
Maintain accurate documentation and follow established processes to ensure consistency and quality across projects
Support the estimating and operations teams with administrative and technical tasks as needed
Qualifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
Knowledge of ductwork, hydronic piping, and plumbing systems preferred
Ability and willingness to follow detailed processes and maintain high accuracy
Mechanical construction experience is a plus
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings is a plus
Experience with QuoteSoft and/or Procore is a plus
