Tableau Developer

*This position will need strong communication skills and has demonstrated capabilities to interact with the business.

Duties:
• Analysis, design and development services for Tableau workbooks in support of the Analytics environment.
• Mentoring of the business users on Tableau processes and procedures and best practices
• Miscellaneous consulting, analysis, design, and development services in support of the Analytics environment

Mandatory Skills:
• Experienced in all aspects of Data Warehousing architectures, methodologies and information delivery services.
• Previous experience includes working with multi-dimensional data structures and OLAP technologies.
• Data modeling experience.
• Strong SQL skills.
• 4+ years of experience with Tableau 8.3 or higher.
• Must have Tableau Server Administration experience.
• Familiarity with a single sign-on environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in gathering and analyzing business information needs/issues and designing on-line query and analytical (Business Intelligence) applications, which enable business clients to perform their job accountabilities confidently and in the most time efficient manner.
• Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends solutions/best practices.
• Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify solutions.
• Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations.
• Has experience interfacing directly with customers and aggressively meeting customer expectations.

Secondary Skills:
• Microsoft BI experience a plus.
• OBIEE experience a plus.
• Master Data Management a plus.
• Training experience a plus.

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related.
• At least 5 to 10 years related IT experience.
