About the Job

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Financial Controller to oversee financial performance across customer projects. This role ensures accurate revenue and cost recognition, supports forecasting, and provides critical insights to project managers for effective decision-making.

How you'll contribute

Project Financial Performance, Planning & Forecasting

Take care of revenue and cost recognition of the customer projects during period closing.

Monitor revenue and cost forecasts to ensure accurate visibility of project financial performance.

Collaborate with planning teams to align cost forecasts with project schedules and resource utilization.

Cost Control & Monitoring
Track project expenditures, analyze variances, and identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring alignment with approved budgets.

Reporting & Performance Analysis
Prepare regular financial reports, dashboards, and KPI analyses for project/function managers, highlighting risks and deviations.

Project Governance & Compliance
Ensure all project activities follow internal policies, contractual obligations and audit standards.

This would make you the ideal candidate

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field.

• Experience in project controlling, project accounting, financial controlling, or a similar role in project based environments (e.g IT, consulting) would be an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Base understanding of budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting.

• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)

• Experience with ERP systems (D365, Odoo).

• Jira, PowerBI, SQL knowledge would be an advantage.

Soft Skills

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of financial processes.

• Professional fluency in English.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.

• Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
