Job Title: Systems Support Analyst (Documentation)
Location: Charlotte NC
Duration: 6 Months
Minimum Qualifications
• 3+ years systems support analysis experience.
• Create and update support documentation (maintained via SharePoint and Documentum)
• Monitor queues on several high-volume business critical systems
• Monitor processes and SLA on key systems
• Execute SQL jobs for clean-up and maintenance tasks
• Follow defined support procedures, involving updates and patching to application and OS layers
• Application Support and Troubleshooting
Required Skills:
• Windows Application Support
• Experience with MS SQL Server
• PAC2000 or similar experience (submitting Change Requests, and managing Problem Tickets)
• Supporting Operational Processing systems (Windows Server 2008, 2012)
• Basic Knowledge of IP networking
• Experience working as part of a team (preferably geographically distributed)
Desired Skills:
• SPLUNK Experience
• Knowledge and understanding of PowerShell scripting
• NDM Administration
• AutoSys Administration
• Azure/Cloud Experience
• Basic SharePoint knowledge – being able to create views and maintain information on a SharePoint site
• Experience application profiling with App Dynamics
• Experience with Service Account Management
• Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Planning experience
Responsibilities/Tasks
• This role will work as part of the WIT Capture team providing day time operational support within the Enterprise Content Management COE.
• Our applications run on Windows Servers, using Kofax Capture and Kofax KTM technologies with supporting MS SQL databases, NAS, and backend Web Services.
• We are undergoing a comprehensive and thorough review of all our or key system security components including: Service Account Inventories and Management, Control Standards, and updated procedures to ensure all layered middleware products are on latest stable versions.
• This role will be expected to support completion of those activities
• Provides technical systems support within a technology organization.
• Duties are varied and may include one or more of the following: provides support for complex technical issues and initiatives related to assigned applications, systems, databases and/or other technical products and services
• uses diagnostic and other tools to maintain, troubleshoot and restore service or data to systems
• evaluates service level agreement criteria and identifies gaps in current technology process
• participates in migrations from development to production, upgrades, installations and/or configurations
• may write queries to extract data and validates data loads
• completes project sizing; updates/writes documentation and procedures and assists with related training; troubleshoots network, hardware and software issues using general guidelines, templates or direction from others
• participates in writing test scripts; maintains change or issue logs
• analyzes performance trends and recommends process improvements
• understands quality, security and compliance requirements for supported areas and reviews changes for risk to production systems
• participates in testing and updating the business continuation plan
