Systems Specialist - Net reveal

To enhance and optimize the performance of the group-wide NetReveal platform for Transaction Monitoring System and Customer Risk Assessment. This role involves configuring detection scenarios, reducing false positives, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and improving the operational efficiency of financial crime prevention processes.

Perform routine evaluations of NetReveal's Transaction Monitoring and Customer Risk Assessment systems to ensure optimal performance.

Configure system parameters and detection scenarios to enhance risk identification and reduce false positives.

Ensure the system adheres to local / international regulatory requirements, and group-wide compliance policies.

Collaborate with group-wide compliance teams to align system functionality with regulatory updates.

Analyze system-generated alerts and data patterns to identify opportunities for improvement in detection and risk assessment processes.

Create detailed reports highlighting system performance, alert trends, and key tuning activities.

Work closely with IT, compliance, operations, and business units to ensure seamless integration and alignment of NetReveal's functionalities with organizational goals.

Act as a technical subject matter expert (SME) during audits, regulatory inspections, and internal reviews.

Establish and maintain quality assurance processes to verify the accuracy and reliability of system-generated alerts.

Conduct periodic evaluations of detection models and customer scoring algorithms for group-wide.

Monitor potential risks arising from inadequate system configurations or outdated rules and implement appropriate mitigating actions.

Maintain comprehensive logs of changes to ensure traceability and compliance.

Specific Accountabilities:

Develop and optimize detection rules and scenarios in NetReveal's Transaction Monitoring System to identify suspicious activities effectively for the group-wide.

Configure customer scoring models in the Customer Risk Assessment module to accurately assess individual and entity risks. for the group-wide.

Analyze the root causes of false positives and implement strategies to reduce them without compromising detection quality.

Regularly monitor and adjust detection thresholds and scoring algorithms.

Ensure seamless integration with external data sources, such as regulatory databases, customer data repositories, and transaction data feeds.

Regularly test and fine-tune scenarios and models to reflect the organization’s risk appetite and regulatory requirements.

Conduct regression testing after updates to validate expected system performance and accuracy.

Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks, such as alert handling and rule management, to improve efficiency.

Integrate the NetReveal system with downstream processes, such as case management tools and reporting systems.

Configure and monitor alerts for high-priority risks, such as suspicious transaction patterns or high-risk customer profiles.

Ensure real-time monitoring capabilities are functioning effectively and provide proactive resolution for performance issues.

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation on system configurations, tuning strategies, and best practices.

Provide training sessions for internal stakeholders to improve understanding and utilization of the system.

Use advanced analytical techniques to identify hidden patterns in transaction data and improve scenario efficacy.

Leverage machine learning or advanced statistical methods to refine customer risk scoring and anomaly detection.

Liaise with third-party vendors or consultants, for co-ordination for any system enhancement
