We are looking for exceptional talent for the position of Firmware Validation lead who will be responsible to drive the validation of firmware for client products/solutions with an emphasis on delivering high-quality FW releases. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:-
Develop BIOS Validation plan, implement it and deliver weekly build/execution/release for Intel client products with relevant stakeholders including ingredient teams, platform teams, silicon teams, etc.
Ensure process compliance and proactively improve integration workflows, add methodologies, pursue avenues for standardization, best practices, and tools.
Be a gatekeeper of the project to ensure a quality FW release to internal and external customers.
Drive sightings to closure by proactive work and/or coordination with relevant stakeholders on standard defect disposition process, triaging, root-causing and investigation.
Demonstrate BIOS Validation leadership in the definition of new platforms with software architecture and development teams, support platform bring-up activities, review designs and code changes.

Candidate should possess Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 7+ years of relevant industry experience, or Bachelors degree with 9+ years of relevant experience.
Additional qualifications include:
- Solid understanding of Intel Architecture, OS/driver interactions, and firmware-silicon-platform dependencies.
- Strong knowledge of UEFI/BIOS architecture, firmware integration flows, and system bringup.
- Handson experience validating client platform technologies, including CPU, memory (DDR/LPDDR), power/boot flows, and IO (PCIe, USB, SPI/eSPI, TCSS).
- Explicit experience in firmware and/or platform security validation, including Secure Boot, Boot Guard, TPM, and firmware protection mechanisms.
- Experience with platform debug and validation tools (e.g., ITP, PythonSV, BIOS/OS logs).
- Strong background and hands-on experience in test content automation is mandatory; Python proficiency preferred.

The group is responsible for developing the holistic strategy for client and data center software in collaboration with OSVs, ISVs, developers, partners and OEMs. The group delivers specialized NPU IP to enable the AI PC and GPU IP to support all of Intel's market segments. The group also has HW and SW engineering experts responsible for delivering IP, SOCs, runtimes, and platforms to support the CPU and GPU/accelerator roadmap, inclusive of integrated and discrete graphics.
