What's exciting about the role

The Systems Integration Engineer (IE) will play a critical role in enabling Verifone’s customers and partners to successfully integrate with our payment solutions. This includes both device-based and non-device integrations. You will work closely with customers, guiding them through validation processes, troubleshooting issues, and escalating internally when needed. This is a customer-facing, hands-on technical role that requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Skills and Experience we desire

• Hands-on programming experience in Java and/or Kotlin

• Experience with REST API development and integration

• Familiarity with Android development and Android Studio

• Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, GIT, and Postman.

• Ability to work in a self-learning environment and manage tasks independently.

• Strong communication skills and ability to manage customer expectations effectively.

• Exposure to Swift, .NET, and Python programming.

• Experience in payment systems or related industries (preferred but not required).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in integration engineering or software development.
