Job Description
Application Management Advisor, He will be responsible for the monitoring, maintenance, and resolution of issues for a client’s portfolio of web application servers. In addition, you will perform requested web application server upgrades including planning, scheduling, coordination, and deploying. Responding to Tivoli, Wily and Site scope alerts and participating in MIM calls. We are looking for a team member that is passionate about Application Support and providing a high level of customer service on a continual basis. Willing to work in 24x7 shift model
Educational Preferences:
BE /B.Tech/MCA from a reputed university. Minimum 7 years of experience.
ITIL Foundations Certified
Knowledge and interest in web server trends and technologies
Role Responsibilities:
• Performs release, deployment, change, and configuration management activities in partnership with infrastructure and web development partners and 3rd party vendors.
• Primary escalation point for resolution of web server issues
• Triages, manages, resolves and documents issues and events related to web servers and environment availability
• Monitors the availability of web servers and acts as a resolver of issues that occur
• Executes problem management processes when required and leads root cause analysis
• Provide guidance and technical advice
• Responsible for the technology environment and understanding of business functions
• Manage knowledge management and dissemination of knowledge within the project
• Ensures high quality project deliveries that meets all agreed upon requirements and ensuring high customer
• satisfaction through the management of the overall customer experience
• Ensure quality documents are maintained as per standard QMS processes
Required Skill:
• 7-10 years of experience for Web Sphere Application Server, Web Sphere Portal Server, Web Logic Application Server,
• Oracle Application Server, IHS/OHS / iPlanet, Apache Tomcat, IIS, .NET, Sterling NDM
• Provide support during required business hours with on call rotation outside of business hours
• Hands-on experience with supporting all Web environments and technologies
• Service Provider Experience providing service to our clients
• Experience with service transition methodologies and on boarding customer projects/engagements
• Experience working with Service Management Tools like OPAS Remedy or similar
• Experience in delivering presentations to customers and must have proven presentation skills
• Ability to lead project teams and manage resources to complete project tasks
• Ability to engage with multiple stakeholders and drive execution under tight timelines
• Ability to proactively identify and manage risks and issues
• Advanced understanding of how technology decisions relate to business needs
• Excellent written and oral communication
